Romanelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil: a fine product from organic farming
After the harvest we dedicate ourselves to the olive harvest, in our 12 hectares of olive groves. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from a deep attention in the care of the olive trees and its fruit, according to the principles of organic farming.
As with our vineyards, we reject all kinds of chemicals in the cultivation of our olive groves, preferring organic and natural methods that respect the ecosystem of the land. We reserve this attention to the plants and fruits for all stages of the production process: from the formation of the olives, their growth and harvesting strictly by hand, to storage and “cold” pressing. We extract and store the oil with the same attention.
The exceptionally low levels of acidity and peroxides, as well as the high content of antioxidants, impart a rich and delicate flavor to the product and ensure a long shelf life, allowing us to obtain three types of extra virgin olive oils that are particularly valuable.
Quattro Varietà
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balance, energy, everydayness. “Quattro Varietà” Extra Virgin Olive Oil from organic farming, is obtained by cold processing olives of the Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo and San Felice cultivars harvested at the moment of maximum aromatic concentration. It is a medium-light fruity oil, very versatile, which lends itself to use on both the most delicate and the most flavorful dishes.
Monocultivar Moraiolo
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Extraordinary personality, sweetness, persistence. This Monocultivar Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained by pressing only olives of the “Moraiolo” variety grown according to the principles of organic farming and harvested at the time of maximum aromatic concentration. Through “cold” processing we produce this extra virgin with a medium-strong fruitiness that goes perfectly with bruschetta, legume soups, red meats.
Monocultivar San Felice
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Elegance, intensity, delicacy. San Felice is a monocultivar obtained by pressing only olives of the San Felice variety grown according to the principles of ‘organic farming and harvested at the time of maximum aromatic concentration. We produce this extra virgin through “cold” processing, with a medium-light fruitiness that goes perfectly with white meats, fish, fresh cheeses and salads.
